Step-by-step Ledger wallet setup at Ledger.com/Start

1. Setting Up Your Ledger Device

Go to Ledger.com/Start to begin the setup. Download the official Ledger Live app for your operating system and connect your Ledger hardware wallet.

Download Ledger Live from the official site.
Connect your Ledger device via USB.
Follow the on-screen prompts for installation.

2. Secure Your Wallet

During initialization, create a secure PIN. Ledger will also provide a 24-word recovery phrase—write it down and store it in a safe place offline.

Choose a strong PIN.
Store your recovery phrase securely.
Never share your phrase online.

3. Backup and Recovery

Your recovery phrase is the master key to your crypto. If your device is lost or stolen, you can restore access with this phrase on a new Ledger device.
